About Dawn

Dawn Green –

earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University and her Master’s Degree from Drexel University in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing.

Prior to becoming an author, Dawn held various corporate positions in product development, marketing and financial analysis.

Following caring for her children full-time for five years, she started her second career as a Financial Advisor. After four years in the industry, she moved forward in faith and founded her practice , Wisdom, Wealth and Winning. Her mission is to help people retire with confidence and leave a legacy on purpose. Passionate about family, fitness, finances, music and education, Dawn is an active member of her church’s children’s and dance ministries and frequently offers her financial knowledge to those in need.

Dawn also serves in her local school district as a member of the Financial Oversight Committee and Parent Advisory Council. She served throughout her children’s elementary and middle school years as an active member of the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA). Dawn has a passion for playing the viola which she pursued from age seven until her senior year of high school. She played in Temple’s youth orchestra and had the opportunity to perform for Desmond TuTu during his visit to Philadelphia. After college, she set her instrument down to pursue her engineering career. In January of 2022, Dawn reignited her passion for music and began taking viola lessons again. Her goal is to continue with this passion into retirement and join a community orchestra. Dawn and her husband just celebrated twenty-five years of marriage. Together, they have two young adult children.

About Pamela

Pamela Sams –

has spent over two decades helping women take control of their financial futures with confidence and clarity. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™), and experienced financial educator, she brings both heart and strategy to the table, especially for women navigating life transitions such as divorce, widowhood, or retirement.

She began her career as a Financial Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors, now Ameriprise Financial. Pamela later became a franchise owner with Ameriprise for five years before moving to Voya Financial Advisors as an independent advisor. After a decade with Voya, she made the move to another independent broker-dealer, Securities America, now Osaic Wealth.

Today, Pamela is the founder of Jackson Sams Wealth Strategies, a boutique financial planning practice based in Ashburn, Virginia, dedicated to empowering women to build long-term security and independence. Her personalized approach covers all aspects of financial life from investments and retirement income to risk protection and college planning with an emphasis on education, confidence, and care. She is a proud member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an elite global association that recognizes the top financial professionals who demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, ethical conduct, and client service. She’s also been featured in respected financial publications, including U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, and Yahoo Finance, sharing insights on retirement readiness, women and wealth, and financial empowerment.

As a speaker, Pamela is known for her engaging and down-to-earth style. She regularly presents on topics such as retirement income strategies, financial wellness for women, and creating confidence around money.

About Cassandra

Cassandra Stiff –

 was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and is a self-admitted “cheesehead”! She spent most of her early adulthood living in Milwaukee except for her last two years of high school, which she finished in Fairfax County, VA. Choosing a career in insurance and financial services, Cassandra has had the pleasure of living in multiple cities before permanently residing in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area. Cassandra has been married to her husband Chip for twenty-seven years, and they have one son who is twenty-five and working on his career journey.

For the past thirteen years, Chip and Cassandra have managed their insurance and financial services practices, Horace Mann Insurance and Lady Insurance and Financial Services, LLC. Chip handles the insurance and Cassandra is the investment advisor representative, handling investing, financial and retirement planning.

Cassandra’s niche is as an educator, and her passion is teaching and helping women with short and long-term financial decisions. As the “face” of the practice, Cassandra spends a great deal of time in her community as a member and volunteer with local business associations and foundations, and she has served on several boards.

As a hobby and a passion, Cassandra loves working out and staying healthy. Working out is a spiritual experience for her, where she often finds solutions to problems which need to be solved.
